We need a lead name for the booking to go in to. For airbnb guests please refer to airbnbs privacy policy on what data they share and what data you allow to be shared.

We normally send a message via asking for your email address for we can send you this documnet.

We also need details of where to send your security deposit back to. This may be for example a bank account or paypal account. Contact names – we need this so we know who to call with regards to the booking and we have the name of who to speak to.

Phone number – so we can contact you with regards to the booking. We also give you our phone numbers incase of an emergency or you need to contact us directly.

Only owners have access to the data. This is so we can process bookings. Ensure the booking runs as smoothly as possible. Ensure you have all the information you may need for your stay.

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold on your self at anytime. Please email welshholidayhomes@gmail.com to request the copy of any data we have about yourself. Please included dates of your confirmed booking and a contact number so we can can verify it is you before we send the data.

9.Duration of data stored

Your name, email address and phone number will be stored from hen you made the booking . The confirmation leaflet clearly states that an account is needed for us to send back your security deposit. This information is only needed on departure. Our cleaner confirms that there is no damages after your stay. We pay back the security deposit then we delete all your data.

If there is a problem for your stay for example damage was caused at the property by yourselves we would keep your data until we have closed the dispute. This is so we can communicate with the lead person on the booking.

10.How do we protect your data

All data is stored in a file that we use only for bookings. This is securely locked away with only Ann and Lauren having access. Any communication done via a phone, the phone is protected by face recognition of Ann or Lauren. Our website is uses https.

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure your data is protected there always remains the risk of harm. Phones can be stolen, email address and websites can be hacked. We are unable to guarantee the security of data beyond what is reasonably acceptable.

11.Children

We do not knowingly collect personal data on children. If we are made aware that data from a child has been collected it will be deleted as soon as practicably possible

This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes in our data collection.
